Yeah that would be cool. There was a 57 Ch*** g***er that used to attend the now defunct Southwest Nostalgia Racing ***ociation meets. I always thought it would be neat to see a Ford set up the same way.
There is a '56 sedan not far from me. It's pretty rusty but the guy only wants $150 for it. I'm seriously thinking about building a g***er out of it.
Do it, they don't have to be pretty. You can just leave it rough like the 54 G***er in my avatar. Although I do plan to eventually repaint it with fresh grey primer.
I'm probably going to go look at it next weekend. There is a junkyard near me that has a couple F100's that I can get a axle for it. Possibly the steering too.
