55 year old with a 34 chevy

i have a 34 chevy 2dr sedan that i have owned and garaged for 15 yrs and would like to begin to retro rod it or full street rod it.
problem is i dont have a clue where to start.
she is all there and looks great. all original from ground up except paint.
i have a 350 sm block and 350 ****** have wheels and tires. need help with frame and suspension and brakes.
looking to get her done pretty fast and cheap.my grandson is sick and all he talks about is grumps car and wanna go ride.
want to end up with a daliy driver not a show car.
not in to lotsa chrome and rolled and tucked interior just a sleeper kinda car.
help a youngster like me get a start. waddaya say fellas.
