'56 Chevy PU VIN Info - Where to Find it?

Here's is noob question #1. Im just starting to get the ball rolling on getting my 1956 Chevy PU roadworthy. Where do I find build info on this truck based on the VIN#?

Also, any idea what the OEM tires/wheels were for this girl? Size, manufacturer, etc? I don't have the old rims for her and am wanting to find a set, but I don't know what to look for.
