56 chevy steering arm

    56 Chevy 3200

    Does anyone know where I can get the joints or new arm circled in this picture? The rubber in the joints is no longer attached, so it will not hold grease.

    That is the drag link.

    Your local auto parts store has tie rod end dust boots which should solve your problem unless the link is just completely worn out.

    If you can't find one, make one! It can be made just like the tie rod-a piece of tube and two screw-in tie rod ends.

    if you grease the chassis every 1000 miles like you're supposed to, then you don't really need the boots....but yeah, you should be able to find the boots.
