I have been working on my 56 f100 for a while and need to know some info about motor mounts for my engine. i have a 292 Y Block with a Ford-o-matic transmission bolted to it, i know you could order a truck with an automatic back in the day. does anyone have a source for the stock crossmembers for the tranny and engine on this particular configuration? I want to keep this as close to stock as i can. the only modifications i want to make to the truck is the stance i would like to keep everything else as close to origanal as possible. PLEASE HELP any info is appreciated. the tansmission came out of a 57 fairlane i believe if that will help
