56 Ford Panel read door swing UP hinge system

Anybody know anyone that altered their rear panel doors to swing up as a combined unit to allow a wheel chair access?
My mechanical abilities are not as limited as I should keep them, and I'm afraid that left to my own devices I'll end up welding a piano hinge like hrdwr on top, but I KNOW someone out there can advise to keep from rube-goldberging something. Thanks, JBKSeattle
