UPDATE! The car has been sold to Quain Stott & Shannon Smith who plan on having it running again in a short matter of time. They have talked about selling it after getting it running again, but I have warned them, they will get "attached" to this car very easily. We would loved to have kept it, but I really want to put all our effort into our "Yesterdays Child" '56. Quain obviously needs no introduction, and recently took only 3 months, to turn Shannons "two lane rustpot" '55 into a bitchen drag strip terror (see thread "Quain Stott saves another '55), so I'm excited to see the '56 get the attention it deserves. They are going to leave it as unmolested as possible, and would love to put a push button clutch flight back in the car, so if you have one, or any lead to one, please PM Quain Stott.

Does anyone know the story on this 55 from SoCal? I remember it running at Irwindale in the 1960's. Thanks, Dick M
