    todays update.
after work today .i ran out to the drive shaft shop (yes thats the companys name lol.) and had them put a new yolk, 2 new joints, and balance the shaft, cost me 125 i thought it was alot for me bringing everything to them, than drove out to where i keep the car and installed it fit like a glove with enough room to pull it in and out if i had too..

I wouldn't overthink the name. Could be as simple as your first or last name and "Automotive" after that. Something like "Joe's Automotive" or "Smith's Automotive".
That's what I plan on doing with my Austin when it's completed. Of course I wont use Joe or Smith since those aren't my names!;)

    update for today
set backs after set backs ...got all the linkage done for the clutch go to step on the pedal and the clutch pedal goes to the floor doesnt come up so i look under the dasha dn the nuts to the pedal were loose so i grab a wrench tighten them bad boys down as tight as i could get em ...go to step on the pedal again damn same thing im like wtf so i go under the dash again and this time im on the side closest to the gas pedal in between the brake and column so i see a adjuster for the clutch pedal on that side grab a wrench tighten that basterd down as much as i could and a little more go back, step on the pedal damn same thing so im thinking that the adjustment screw is either stripped or im missing something but i cant get any clutch ....its driving me crazy anyone sell this nut seperate or anyone have one ..

    update. 8:48 am

well been here since 4 am working on the car so i might get it done by the end of today heres what i found 4 speed trans is fine pulled it out everything looks to be normal.i moved the clutch fork and it was kinda stiff so i pushed it foward as to remove it from the litle ball it rests on and when i looked inside the thowout bearing wasnt on the fork it was on the bottm of the scatter sheild maybe it fell off i dont know so since i got it apart i ran out to the advanced auto parts closest to me 25 min ride grabbed a performance clutch kit brand new everything cost 150 so now im outside re installing the clutch hopefully the correct way and i may have that all finished today ..oh also yesterday got a delivery from mutton hollow chevy the sent my new clutch rod ..sol now everything is brand new ... to be continued

    update ....
fixed it......finally got clutch ..and it was something i kept passing bye everytime..
the new z bar had to be fabbed up to work with the factory ball than the other side had to be welded in a diffrent position .what i kept forgetting to do was cut off the old bar that stuck out from the frame .it was only me trying to work on the clutch and linkage plus up and down to step on the pedal so i never saw how close the z bar was to this stock mount..after realizing the z bar was hitting i cut it off and what do you know full throw on the z bar goes into gear perfect..thanks for all the quick responses ..

Cool deal. I was thinking the same as the reply about pedal slipping from splines. I have been away and just back from trade show set up. 2 days home and back out for tair down.

well here is todays update ..

so i finish up with everything today ..take the car for a ride and the clutch is slipping, so i go to put the car into reverse and its popping out so we push the car up into the drive way i get it into the air i and adjust the clutch some more, drop it down still slipping but not as bad but at least i know what that problem is ...onto bigger issue

i know i have to make adjustments to the reverse linkage at the trans to get it to stay in reverse without popping out ..the linkage on the trans wont let it get all the way into reverse no biggie will fix it..i know what that is now.

last big problem .well i welded the pedal assembly the other day to keep the pedal from slipping in the stripped groves well today after the last test drive i went to shift into 1st to drive up the drive way and the damn pinch linkage under the dash snapped off ..it must have been really shitty i was like wtf..so i just ordered a brand new clutch pedal set up from mutton hollow chevy ..79 bucks should be here by the end of the week ..in time for the week end ...

    todays update

well after 2 whole weeks of waiting for mutton hollow chevy to send my new clutch pedal ..it finally came ..thats the good news of my entire week

the bad news of my life
i open the box all the correct parts are in the box i had taken the old set up out last week so it would be a breeze to put back together.anyway i install everything tighten up the pinch clamp under the dash that keeps the pedal adjusted level with the brake pedal go to put her in gear, and the god damn piece of crap jap made part does the same exact thing the 1st one did went to the floor didnt come back ,well it did but not all the way ....so i crawled under the dash and was looking to see what was up .and just like the 1st one the pinch clampis fully tightend and still moving back and forth inside the clamp i put the correct hardware in it ..so i called them (no answer of course ) so i left a message i want them to take care of it ...hopefully they do......
