im not going to run front bumper i will run the rear the front will be lifted im thinking not to cut the rear wells though.id rather leave em and raise the rear a little to clear the wheels..carbs to big to small ??????
i think the carbs are too big but thats not the problem.unless your going to run OLD carters on them i would probably run some 500-600 hollys on it.the new carters-ebelbrock carbs just dont look right.what kind of frontend are you going to run?wht not cut wells?if you want it to look the part dont just go half way because it wont look right.here are some pics.of steves blew by you.this 56 has THE LOOK.i think i have some more and ill try to find them.hope they help!
sweet looking ride ...ill probably go with some smaller carbs maybe the 600's as far as the wells i was gonna cur em but alot of people say dont it ruins the cars look ..i always like em cut and rolled ....looking at this car maybe i will cut em as far as the front im going to leave it as is for now but i deffinitley will be outting a one peice flip front going to weld up the steel hood and fenders and use what i have no money for fiber glass...thanks for the pictures
I'm going to try and do the same, I like the tilt nose look, and steel is the way I'm going. I would like to go 327 with fuel injectors, maybe a mag also. Keep the build pictures coming, I need some inspiration to start workin' on mine. I'm on a LOOOW Budget also....
like i said before if you want to do something than just do it!!!!!!!!!!!!if you need more pics,i will try to help you{if i dont get kicked off site}your car has alot of patential..first decide what YOU!!!!!!!!want than see what YOU LIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!than take some time and decide what YOU CAN DO!!!!!!!!!!!there are so many cars out there to take some build tips from.FIRST OF ALL just build what you want and then let other people help you make it better.

It was an album name...by a band ( or, more actually A studio experiment in noise and nihilism...) called Big Black. Thats what made me think of it...Its a big black Chevy, for sure! Now I'm laughing my ass off about about "BAD-ASSid", though...
"Mothers Worry" There was a 55 chevy in my town that was bad a** and that was the name of it. The letters of the name Mothers Worry was painted in a wave or ribbon form. I always thought it was bad.
