i was thinking about the name "Bad companY"only reason is cause the other nite i was laying in bed with my gurl after a night of partying it up and i tooted under the blankets ..after not saying a thing for about 5 mins she finally got the wind of it and was like oh you are bad company ...and we started to crack up laughing about how fowl it was ...so i thought it was a fitting name what do you think ..

nah im gonna leave the battery up front only reason i dont feel like running the cable under everything i want to leave from behind the seat empty except for the fuel tank ..less weight to pull around ...thanks..im trying to have this thing together very soon..

    from nowhere...

Better to put it back there...its worth more over your rear wheels.
Its easy to run the cable, just go to any electric motor repair place, they should have a spool of what you need, and the connectors...
Don't think of it as weight to "pull" around...think about it as weight to distribute...to put whereever it is more useful!
Either way, its in the car...it can either be an advantage, or a burden...
It would DEFINATELY drive me nuts being all in my face when getting those carbs plumbed, and working right, too...

  17. I have a driveshaft laying around here somewhere, I'll try to measure from center of u-joints if it will help. Lost on names, maybe Hamb Jive, Diminishing Returns:eek:? Like was said it will come naturally when the car is finished, then the name does not get in the way of the build!:)

  20. I saw that you are in New York and was going to suggest Big Apple Bomber but remembered 911...that name would be totally disrespectful to all Americans. How about American Pride...the 9 second ride.

54 1/2 " C/C on the driveshaft U-joints. That's the lenth of two I have in the garage. As far as a name goes, stick in a single bucket seat and call it, "Standing Room Only". Butch/56sedandelivery.

    Lorodz, how bout "PRIME TIME"

Hey, if ya already have the edelbrocks, just pop the edelbrock badge off the front and dull the finish some. That is what makes them stick out soo bad compared to the original Carter AFB's. They really are not a great tunnel ram carb, but with some patience and lots of tuning you can get them dialed in enough to work.
