1952-59 Ford 56 headlight door on a 53?

sorry if this has been discused - it's probably a dumb question too - i did try to search it but....

will the headlight doors off a 56 customline bolt on to a 53? AND how about a 56 fairlane? maybe i should save this question for myself at the next car show i go to but i doint know when that is gonna happen

If you put 1952 Ford and 1953 Ford in Google search and then click on images you will find tons of Customs,you will probably find lots of ideas.

 

A few years back I bought a clock made out of the 56 headlight door on ebay. I couldn't believe how cheap it was. Anyways maybe you could pickup a door cheap and try it out to see how close it is.
