I have plenty of part laying round that need to go to something. I just acquired this 56 roller. Needs floors and other metal work as you can see in the photos. Front frame crossmember rotted per normal. Lots of little parts missing. No interior. I already have a little tunnel ram 289 and manual transmission that would fit nicely under the hood. I have some daisy wheels too boot. So I am thinking of building this on the cheap in an attempt of a "what if" TLBT was a Ford instead of a Chevy. Should be interesting and as the ***le states, a super slow build as I have other projects in front of it. Let the fun begin!
Threw on my mock up TLBT hood scoop. Kind of caught me off guard how high it sits. After looking at photos of the TLBT 55, it sits pretty high. I need to take the front bumper off for a better perspective.
I do not have any FE's any more. However I do have several non-period correct 460's! Thank you for the picture. I like the look of the lower valance with the marker light still in place. I've seen many a photo with the marker lights gone and it loos goofy to me.
I love the car but am confused by the SS/A cl*** designation. I believe that NHRA still only allows 1960 as the earliest year for Super Stock. Maybe he's running with a different sanctioning body.
