I'm a 47 yr. old Mom that has a huge interest in learning what I can about my 56 olds 98 Holiday. It's totally original, awesome shape. When I bought the car, I learned it needed a timing chain, so I tore into it, changed the chain with my brothers help to get the gears correct. Ran MUCH better, but now the ****** only goes in 1st gear. It was fine before. So, not sure if there is a vacuum line disconnected? I sure don't see anything.. Another problem, it starts up great when cold. can really tromp on it and stays running. but after I shut it down and try to restart, it won't pop unless I use starting fluid, then runs a bit rougher. any ideas?? Help a momma out please!
