Hello to the forum, and thanks for having me!

I just picked up a nice original 56 Plymouth Plaza and it appears this place is going to be a wealth of information for me. You can fully expect to ask all the typical new guy questions.......what fits?........where can I find a?........how do I?.......you get the picture! Speaking of pictures, as soon as I figure it out I'll get a couple posted. Stay tuned.

Welcome from your neighbor to the north and fellow lover of 55-56 Plymouths.

Besides the HAMB also check out forwardlook.net for more info on these cars.

Whitewalls, Flames and Louvers for sure!
Keep your Roscoe under the seat, and STAY out of the Southside!!

Whitewalls, duals, and a drop to the *** end to start, but a Roscoe under the seat will still get me jailed in Illinois! We're still a couple months away from concealed carry, but I've got a late 50's vintage Colt snubbie.that would love to be an accessory in my Plaza.......

Plaza56: Sorry about reference to artillery. It's wide open here in AZ. I forgot about Ill's rules. I grew up in Buffalo and NY had a Sullivan law, so no one had a pistola. I got out of CA, finally, a year ago. Etc.,etc. (Getting TOO STUPID over there.)

Have been a MOPAR guy for years, mainly Hemi '50's FIN CARS. Now with my "last rod", a 51 Shoebox Ford. (Easier for a Geezer to push around when needed.) Just got my trunk solenoid working! A big deal for slow mover!

Prescott has a Ruger plant, so lots of loyalty to that brand with locals!
Lowering blocks are a cheap, weekend modification. Also Smitty "twice pipes "!
Forgot what engine size is in the '56. Early 318?

It has the original 270, and I've already ordered a set of Brockman MellowTone steel packs.

Ruger? I encourage all HAMB members to run out and buy a new Ruger or two. I own some stock in that company!
