Picked up a '56 Ranch Wagon a couple of weeks ago. Will try and post some pictures when I can figure it out. It's a complete car less engine and trans. Plans are for an upgrade to late model engine and trans, disc brakes, a/c, etc. It will be a joint effort with Blue Oval Truck Parts in Anaheim, Ca and myself. More info about the build will follow. Also picked up a 1947 Ford Super Deluxe convertible, all original un-molested car. The Wife is ecstatic! She's always wanted a drop top, fat fendered car. Got it for her b-day. I'm king of the world now (ha!). Anyway, I'll try and get some pic's posted.
I can't hardly believe it myself. It was just too nice to p*** up. What sealed the deal was my Bride really liked the car, so being the good hubby that I am, I had to get it. It needs a little mechanical work as its been sitting for awhile. But I don't want to do too much to it, just get it back on the road and enjoy it.

you sound like the guy who can fall in a big ol pile of it, find a diamond and still come out smelling like a rose. nice score on both.
It may sound like that, but it's taken alot of years to am*** this fleet of automobiles. Money has always been an object. Others will agree, family first, everything else is secondary. I don't want to brag, but I did save some money over the years so I can do this car thing while retired. I also have an understanding Wife who lets me fool around with the cars.
