Just a simple question for those that have been involved with the 57-60 f-100's. Where is the best, maybe not the cheapest, place to purchase cab corners, cab mounts and lower front fender patches. It's not that I couldn't find them, just thought that someone here could give me a good place to start. Fenderless
I'd say Dennis Carpenter is the best in quality but you'll pay for it. In my opinion it's worth the dough though. LMC truck and JC Whitney will be cheaper... but you get what you pay for.
Ive seen them on ebay a bunch of times and Lmc has them too.they're always expensive though.Good luck.got any pics of the truck?
i have done cab corners on two of these trucks. the first time with LMC corners they required a lot of reworking as they didnt fit perfectly, the second time i got them from dennis carpenter, they were initially more expensive but required a lot less and were much better quality. rowdy
I have learned my lesson and buy all of my stuff from Dennis Carpenter Reproductions whenever possible. Sure, you pay less initially from the other sources, but the frustration of trying to get an inferior part to fit will cost you more in the long run...
DC is one of the companies ive looked at, probably go with them, I thought maybe there might only be one company poppen these and everyone bought from them and then resold em. Sorry I haven't quite mastered the picture post just yet. I'll see if my 11 year old can help me. LOL. Thanks guys.
LISTEN TO THIS!!! The "Gaslighter" ( In my Avatar...) has LMC cab corners... I would not purchase them again...they took a LOT of work to make usable. And, they are STILL not perfect... Dennis Carpenter.
