   Looking for the width of the ashtray for a 57 Ford, just the tray part, not the front face. Does anyone know? Wondering if it is the same as the 56. I want to make a cup holder but don't want to give up my ashtray.

   I found one on eBay for a 57-60 F100 that is about ¼ inch wider than mine. I should be able to grind enough off to make it fit. I'll post pictures when I'm through.
