ok here we go. i finally have the time and means to start working on her. a big military supporter gave me this truck when i got home from the sandbox a coming home gift. it has the original frame a steering box. and most of the metal is also original, kinda restored long ago. i am trying to figure out if it should be done up a big 4x4, slammed and mean, or restored to stock. but the one consideration is i have a cadi 500 that is going in if not restored to stock. so, any suggestions?
It all depends on what you want and are going to do with the truck. You have the motor so start from there. Is the truck running now, if so I would drive it and work on it as I went. But that my .02 post some pics
Save that big 4x4 idea for something much newer and less cool, but I'm not into that stuff at all. People that are into the old stuff will probably think you ruined it, and people that are into the lifted stuff won't understand that it's the most attractive truck to ever come out of Detroit. Slammed and mean has my vote.
