Hey all, I'm just getting into car collecting, after growing up with a 72 Ford F100 Custom with 460/4-barrel carb. Still miss it. So I have an opportunity to buy a 57 Chevy pickup for $6,000, but I need to understand if what I'm being told is legit. Seller says it's "Registered as 57, fender emblems say 3100 apache." But after researching on collectors forums, it doesn't look like the Apache model came out until 58. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks so much! Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
Welcome to the HAMB from South Ga Do a search on the HAMB. But I believe the name Apache was used in 58 and 59 even though 55 6 7 were similar.
