57 Chevy drag car named "Shotgun"

Does anyone here remember a 57 Chev named "Shotgun" that raced on the N.W. circut in the early 60s? it held both ends of the local records for many years, even after it was retired in the late 60s. a friend of mine was part owner until he spirled down into the drug world. I keep toying with the idea of building a tribute car.
