Are you going to bring it to the hot rod reunion in Bowling Green this year?

You're further along than I am, but I've only been working on it for the last 20 yrs. Looking good, keep at it. Mine when I pushed it out into daylight for the first time in many years.

    Yep, just a 'lil 396...
Well, actually a hundred more cubes than that but it looks the same on the outside! My mid life switch to big blocks doesn't stop the need for RPM, she's balanced and will easily go 7 grand for my shifting enjoyment.

Cold in the Northeast here lately. Fully insulated my shop this past week so no more standing next to the woodstove to work on stuff! Been fiddling around with the tailfin stainless and tail lights.
Pix once the new bumper goes on. This will mean one end of the car is ''finished'.
Timonium show is going on today, gonna take the family to check out some cars.

  11. Looks great! I had a 69 Torino fastback that was white w/purple pearl, really *****en at night under the lights. Thank God you "tear dropped" the rear wheel openings. I'm not to crazy about round wheel wells on 56 & 57's, then leaving the last bit swept back, it makes the wheel opening look like a big comma, or ? mark.

    Panneton Bros -
    Thanks for the good words!
The paint HAD to be pearl white/blue pearl. All the new cars I've seen that are ''pearl'' white have a gold pearl and it doesn't look right to me. The wheelwells were something else that just were going to be right or I was gonna freak. The way Project X looked in Hollywood Knights did it for me.

Thanks! And dang you for rolling out as I was heading over to look at your 150! Hope you weren't cutting out because of the "issue". Saw a 4 door sedan up the row from ya that the same guy shoulda said....
Tomorrow I'm going to visit the gl*** guy and schedule the job. Sold enough excess stuff at the show to move forward. The long winter is over and I want to make it to the drags this year!

thanks enloe. no steve, we headed home..... then went out to eat with some old school friends at ABC Brewery. the cold beers tasted so good after that hot sun. lol. they didn't give me a hard time this year.... it was last year. the guy at the gate said he didn't think my car qualified to get in. lol. I need to get Bryces 76 short bed done. he'll soon be 16. then I can get back to work on the 1930 model A pickup. like I said, I'm lucky if I drive my 57 3 times a year. just don't have the time.

Folks - sweetinsanity's car is a 150 business model. Back windows don't roll down, very little trim in the car. The steelies and front runners give it a serious at***ude change! Love it

Windows are in the car - finally!
Hey stop by, I found some window regs if you want 'em. FYI - the gl*** on the roll up windows is a different size than your fixed gl***.

Thanks for the encouragement, I've been working on the steering column and shaft together with the motor mounts.
