'57 Chevy Herman- please help I.D.

Here are a couple of pics of a step van I've had for a while, I'm wanting to start work on it but want a little more info before I begin. I've seen many Metros, Grummans, and a couple others but never Herman Body Co. Wondering what it may have been used for, rarity, any interesting info, ect. I dropped a post in the step van thread as well. Its on a chevy drivetrain with a 235 straight six, hydromatic 4 spd, right hand drive, 57 chevy car speedo. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
