57 F-250 wheel crossover

hi, i have a 57 f-250 with 8 lug 8x6.5 bolt pattern. just wondering if anyone knows if there is an adapter made to convert these hubs to a 5 bolt or 6 bolt pattern, i dont want to go thru the process of switching out axles. maybe i could even just change out the drums. does anyone know if this is an option, if so which drums (make and model) would work. thanks.

 

If you want a half ton truck instead of a 3/4 ton truck, then you would probably be better off buying a half ton truck.

Half ton wheels don't fit on 3/4 ton brakes, half ton brakes don't fit on 3/4 ton axles, half ton axles could probably be made to fit on 3/4 ton springs but it'll ride like a 3/4 ton, and the bed will still be long.
