57 ford stainless problem

    I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the upper windshield stainless from a 1957 for fairlane 500. thanks im new to this so bare with me

    Probably comes out (and goes back on) with the WS and the seal.

    Best thing is to call Tri-Valley gl***. (Dennis's son) He does all sorts of custom, cl***ic, street rod, and hot rod gl***.

    You can't pull it straight out. The trim that is inserted into the rubber gasket has an "L" shape to it which engages it in the rubber. Instead, you need to work the clip out of the side and slide the pieces individually out sideways.

    I got the sides off no problem but the top piece looks like it has three clips across the roof. It slides but the ears hit the inner clips. it slides so im pretty sure its not pinched between the window and body. I know the bottom is. thanks for the info

    Pull the inner windshield trim, there should be 3 nuts visible . Take those off,3/8 I think .. Good luck Jack
