Drove it up to the tag place today. One mile 235 degrees. Its got a wimpy electronic fan...looks like I will be buying a Spal. If the water pump is new I'll eat it...lier...lier. Leaking a constant stream out the back. Well there goes another $250.

The sole good thing that happened to day is that Manley called and they have finally got the valves made for Rodan. Lets see...thats about one per week. Now all I need are some rods and pistons...please mister postman......

Yea man I am hard at it. Trying to get the digger all but done except for the engine this weekend...but son has other thoughts. He bought a 37 Chebbie in Kansas and it looks like we will making a dash up in between rain storms to get it. My guess is one more weekend. No biggie...I expect to live for at least one more week.

I have heard a lot of deer stories lately. They must be turning suicidal or something. A guy I work with says that they have to dodge the deer in the road driving out to where they hunt them...huh!!! Well anyway that is what he says. The deer in Western OK are playing chicken and a few of them are loosing (a la James Dean).

Let me know if there is anything worth while at Shawnee...nothing in particular needed.
