Technical 57 Pontiac Brake System Upgrade

1957 American Pontiacs didn’t have hanging pedals and firewall mounted master cylinder?

 

I don't see any reason why not. Sounds like a good idea. That area is really tight. I would definitely use a master cylinder with a remote reservoir.

 

That is correct. Canadian Pontiacs are basically Chevys with Pontiac sheet metal and trim.

 

@Crusty Chevy What year and model was the AMC?

 

I hate to say it but I do not recall, it was 15 years ago. I know it has a casting number on it, I will look next time I am under it.
