Thanks for the feedback,i think the rack is off a later model impala wagon.i liked the v shaped front, looked cool to me.after that i had some halo mirrors i fender mounted.the wide whites are portawalls .it,s a 210 but pop wanted the belair inserts and they were also hamb bought and in amazing shape gave 100 for them which i thought was a bargin.car is pretty original with a sixn 3 speed with od.went to maryland from s.c last winter so it,s pretty road worthy
Two-door wagons are just too cool. How do you like the port-a-walls? I can't tell if it's just the pictures, but they look kind of "off" to me, how are they in person? Anyway, pretty sweet little ride. You say you're done, does that mean you're really done?
That's the same roof rack I have on my '51 Pontiac wagon. I think it's an aftermarket one, but I really like it. Great looking wagon, enjoy it. Brian
Portawalls are a good cheap and you have radials,i think i would go smaller they hug the tires better.i car guys going to know right off, other folks seem to think they are real whites.happy new year all!!!!!
Awesome driver! 210 2 door wagons are somewhat rare, many were worked to death as utility vehicles. Another vote for no visor here. What is the story with the hub caps? They look unusual.
Hubcaps appear to be 58 Dodge Lancer caps, either aftermarket, or massaged at one time or another (bullets/checkered paint). Nice looking wagon - done just right, and you may consider this another vote for NO VISOR. dj
Great looking wagon! My first car was a 57 2 door. I miss that car, got it when I was 14. I have to agree, no visor.
I don't usually like red cars, and tend to favoe 150 / 210's, but that is killer! I also vote no visor. How about some engine / interior shots. Happy New Year Hambones!
I like it, I think I'd like it with a visor too. I'd also have to have a pair of those stainless wind deflector things for either side of the tailgate too, but then again I like that kind of shit.
The first thing I would do to a visor is sand it down to bare metal, fill in small cracks and dents, prime it and the burn the MF.
Nice ,my first car was a gloss back 57 Belair 4 door wagon .It was an ex drag car with a 350 and a 4 spd.It had real slick black diamond tuck vinyl interior .I wish i had it back .No on the visor also .Your wagon looks great as is ...
