Hi, Thought I would follow the rules and take a moment to introduce myself. To begin with i love cars. Cars of all types but especially old cars and hot rods. I grew up around cars. My Grandfather was a Ford Master Mechanic. He cut his teeth on Model Ts. My Father has the bug to and he gave it to me. I spent lots of time with my dad as a kid learning how to fix and build stuff. I have been working on 2 cars for a while. I have a 57 chevy 4 dr wagon that I am about 7 years into. Just a little better than a year into the frame off on the car. Nothing too fancy. Just an updated driver with 350 700r4 power steering and brakes for added safety. I also have an all steel 1923 Ford Model T roadster. It actually started its life with me as pieces of about 8 or 9 touring cars. I have it all grafted together into a body now. all hung on a skeliton of 1" square tubeing. I am starting to mock up the suspension and frame. Power will be from a warmed up 216 chevy stovebolt. Suspension is old skool stuff as well from a 37 ford pickup with 39-40 juice brakes. Long way to go on both rides and I am going to need some help seting up this split wishbone suspension. I earn my living as a high school shop teacher. I teach or have taught: Welding, Machine shop, Wood shop, Drafting, CAD and CNC. Mike
