Well my Dad and my cousin came home last night with a new project a 58 brookwood. They paid 1k for it and it has probably 3-4k in new parts sitting inside of it so they got a pretty good deal. They want me to help them hot rod it but I'm having a little difficulty picturing it as one. Its not exactly what I call a "Pretty car" but to each his own I guess :D . I've done some searches on here and haven't found a whole lot of finished pictures of them. Anyone have any? I tried to talk them into chopping it but that went over like a fart in church... They thought about putting lake pipes on it but I'm not real big on them so any help would be great guys, thanks in advance. I'll post some pics later tonight when I can get over there and take some pics.

I like -58 Chevy wagons, they look good even with four doors... And to make them look better I think a nice stance combined with the right wheels & tires are usually enough...

Those do look pretty nice, its not something I personally would do but they do look nice. I really like the red one, we talked about painting his brandy wine and diamond white last night. I didn't think the lake pipes would look good but they actually do. Thanks a lot for the pics, are any of those yours? I'm pretty sure the brookwood uses the same suspension as the Impala's, we want to bag it and put it in the dirt on bags. Thanks for the reply

Yeah I didn't really pay attention to it at first but then I looked a little closer, they did a **** load of work to it. It's really nice, I hope the one we do comes out that nice. Any pics of the rear of it epinut?

58 Chevy's use coil springs on all four corners, so you can easily bag them. They look killer with tube girls and skirts.....there is someone on here selling extra wagoon parts. You'll have to search my name for a thread about quarter panels I posted on.....I'd do it for ya but I've got a train to catch!

    you and me both.

I sold mine to my brother years ago, and he did the custom by crunch thing to the right rear a while back.

There probably are some neat things you could do to make it look better, but I don't know what they'd be

Thanks guys I appreciate everything. I didn't get over there tonight to take the pics because I was finally got this POS S10 blazer running right after screwing with it for the last couple weeks. So now I can start making room in my shop for this project. I can't wait to start on it now, thanks guys

I love the look of the yellow wagon - the pipes on it are actually "Bellflower" pipes. Lake pipes usually run from the lower rear of the front fender along the rocker panel to ahead of the rear wheel....

--oh!!! sorry... just noticed the red wagon has the lakes pipes. My bad.
