Hi, does anyone know if you can buy a drop spindle that still uses the stock drum brakes for a 58 chevy. All I can find is the ones that use a disc brake conversion. Any help would be great.
    Thanks.

I doubt you'll find any drop spindles that use the stock brakes, reason being that drop spindles are something that came along after disc brake conversion became popular.

Might look into lowering springs, if cutting the stock ones doesn't give what you want.

also be sure to run small tires up front :)

Also remember to take care of that drive line after throwing it's pinion out of whack because you just lowered the *******.

Put a slip yoke in the rear and upgrade to a poly carrier bearing....or fill it full of **god I'm having brain fade** silly-cone.

Mines lowered, cut coils. Rides NICE, but was tearing the rubber out of the carrier bearing.
