I'll refrain from adding any more negativity about the seller.. But that's very cool that you've got a wife that's wanting an old truck! And impressed at what you guys have been making out of a deal gone bad.

In my '68 C10, I have the cab pockets too. I usually keep a bottle of oil, brake fluid, some tools, etc, in there. They do a good job of keeping them from sliding around underneath the bench seat, but they're REALLY prone to rust too. I need to replace the entire cab of my truck anyways. :) Be sure to seal it up real good.

    Thanks TS!

There was no turning back once we got the truck... It just ended up costing more money than we originally planned to get it to look like a truck!

    Jen is a cool chick!!

Nope... they are so rigid that we just left them. And they really don't move at all!

Went to X-Ray school in Tyler 82-83, Tyler Junior College. There was a club in Tyler for 55-59 Chevrolet trucks, and I really started to like the style then. You can't find a decent one now here in the PNW, at least not for a good price. That first set of pics you posted; was that taken in the parking lot of a Brothel (Kum and Go)? Truck on!. M/C mounted and painted, also made an inside backer to make it solid. Got the brake pedal moved and centered with the column battery box done!

is the MC support going to be enough? I made something similar, but still had some issues with the firewall flexing along with the dash. How do you have it mounted under/behind the dash?

I had planned on it... but it was paid for and there was no turning back at that point.

Plus it was a friend of a close friend so we though he was a stand up guy. Turned out not to be the case!

Why do you think I'm cranking on this pickup? So I can get back on the T and send it to paint... That's why!!! :D

LOL... I thought it was because you wanted me to help with the frame swap on the business coupe? OR we were pulling that Ford truck in to do the the motor swap? OR insert other project here ;)
