i have been doing some searching and always come up empty with Edsel questions. I am getting ready to do the floors in my edsel. I am wondering if I can use molded carpet from a fairlane for my 58 edsel pacer. the pacer is the smaller model so I am thinking it would be the same as fairlane?

Edsel"s for 1958 were built on two different platforms.A large and a small.

The large cars (Corsair and Citation) were built on the Mercury frame.

The small cars (everything else including your Pacer) were built on a Ford frame.

Floor pans, carpet and most everything will transplant from Ford to your Pacer. So yes the carpet will work :D

It"s interesting to see a large series car parked next to a small series car.The sheetmetal looks like it could be exchanged between the two BUT no way!
