Looking for pics of 58 Impala roof vent used in other cars. I've seen some that aren't right on the rear window, but a little forward, with a space between, and I've seen some with the scoop sheet metal shortened quite a bit. Not sure if that's been done because the roof doesn't follow the same contour as an Impala, or for some other reason. For a roof with more curve, or less curve than the 58, is the scoop sliced and diced to follow the curvier part, or a new section made? I've found a few pics, not many, but can't find many pics in my stash of magazines. Hoping folks have a few that aren't too much trouble to post..
    Thanks in advance, Bill

Had a sneaky feeling I had posted this before, and yeah, in 2022. Dang. It's not dementia, just CRS.
I work so slow, it's easy to forget what I did last week, last month, 20 years ago..........

Didn't 58 Pontiac Bonneville use the same roof scoop?

  5. Yes, '58 Bonneville used what looks like the same roof as the Impala.

While not really from a 58, the Miss elegance 55 has a similar fabricated scoop....
