Technical 58 Impala Starter Wiring Question

I only have draw when the black power feed is connected into dash harness. I’ll start following that.

 

Found the issue. Embarr***ed to say I installed the ground wire at the regulator in the wrong spot (actually didn’t realize it was a ground as the factory wire from the battery to the voltage regulator is black. Brain fart when I was installing the engine harness. All is good.

Drove the Impala yesterday for the First time in 2-1/2 years. Forgot how much I like this car.
