   i can get a good deal on a 3x2 intake. i am told it is off of a 59 (stock). i know it fits all the motors up to 390, will it fit on a 64 429? i always thought my 429 is basically the same as a 390 but i just want to know for sure.

   Nope, wont work. 63 390 is a completely different animal from the earlier ones.
