Been doing a lot of searching, but have not found any evidence of headers being fitted to a 390 in a '59 Cadillac. I know Sanderson make some headers for the 390, but they state they are for hot rod applications. Surely someone has tried to make headers? I am prepared to have a go possibly, but just wanted to get some hints before I waste any time.
How much room is there? Have any limitations say at....middle block area ? Is the Sanderson part # the same one they advertise for '66 Deville AND hot rod applications ? It almost travels close to the block and down....IIRC.....like a block hugger...so to speak. I don't wanna' ask a dumb question, just didn't know if you have actually seen the header installed. Have you called them yet ?? Not every day a 1959 Cadillac gets headers.....hell maybe you will get lucky......and they may not list every application maybe ?? Good luck !
