59 chevy on a 80's c-10 frame??

I have A 59 chevy short bed pickup and I was wondering if anyone has put one on a 80's c-10 frame. BTW my 59 is a short bed. Thanks

 

I put my 59' cab on a 65' frame and then switched the front for a 57's(sneaky aint I hahaha) but i have seen a couple of people with those later year frames do it to.....Body mounts,bed mounts might be close but are probably gonna need alittle work,rad. support,some other odds and ends to make it fit Just right

 

I have a '62 short bed sitting on a '73 C10 ch***is. I did have to shorten the frame because I started with a long bed. Simple matter of removing the cab mounts from the old frame and attaching them to the 'new' frame. The back of the cab had to be notched slightly as the frame kicks up a little farther forward than the old one. Also cut the front of the old frame off at the front crossmember, and welded it to the front of the new frame.
