'59 Chevy "Stream Find"

Looked at this '59 today. Heard about it sitting in this stream near town. The farmer could not remember if it was a 2dr or 4dr so I decided to take a look. Unfortunately it was a 4dr and really not much left other than the rear glass & a piece of trim or two.

 

i see a water moc or two.....

 

One of my older buddies(he's mid 50's) told me during a conversation about 4-dr's,specifically chevies,that when they were kids they'd use 4 dr's for parts(like the missing f-end in these pics) & dump the rest.

 

Get the dash....

 

Get the deck lid and tail light pieces.

get the rear clip and make a couch or BBQ cover.

 

Hell use it for patch panels, they dont make steel like that any more.

I looked it over good there just wasn't anything I'd wade in the mud for. The inside of the deck lid was gone. Someone took a torch to what's left of the dash. From the water line down, everything is completely rotted away.
