I love motorcycles. The one you ride is neat too (although I can't remember what motor it has..) I like pretty much any bike aside from newer Harleys because everyone has one.

Most bikes are pretty ugly until you start stripping them off and modifying them. Honda CBs particularly. Board racers, cafe racers, bobbers, I like them all.. Except choppers. Especially the OCC kind with overstretched front forks.

A couple pictures of the Moto shouldn't hurt as long as we don't get too off topic about motorcycles and get your thread shut down. Unless you have a thread on these bikes elsewhere, JockeyJournal perhaps?

But you picked the wagon. Good choice. Gotta let the family (or friends) have some fun with you as well. The board racer can come after. :)

I love those caps!! Slick, really. And the exhaust makes me feel ashamed of the crap I cobled together on mine this afternoon!! Although, I just did it so I could fix the leaks, I swear!! haha! Good stuff as always! The color looks cool as well. I've been looking at greens for the bel air and am undecided. I can see why it took so long for you to pic a color. I've been looking at paint, carpet and headliner samples so much all I see are green and gold!

I just had a huge Homer Simpson "D'Oh!" moment.. I got you confused with Chris from Salt Flats Speed Shop. I don't even know if you have any other bikes let alone ride them.

Maybe it's because I envy both your and Chris' metalworking skills. That discombobulates me. Yeah.. That's gotta be it. :D

I like it! You don't see too many board track racers with driveshafts instead of chains. It'll be different for sure but in a very good way.

I'm going a candy green over pearls with candy gold scallops over pearl.........or candy gold with candy green scallops............or.........you know, decisions are hard when it comes to paint! At least I know what colors and skeem I want, just not exact color or dominant color! My girl likes green beter for dominant and I like gold. It is her car though, so it will be her decision in the end.

So today I spent the entire day on laying my back, working on the exhaust system again , I know some of you might say wow that's a lot of time just on the exhaust system well yah it is but I guess I can't do aneything easy , and two there such tight bend and areas where a normal tubing bender couldn't do in the quility I wanted so I went threw lots of u bends and cutoff wheels aneyways here are some more pics. .

I know the exhaust looks really close to the tire which it is, I'm going to have to space the wheels out a little bit and also this pic is when the car is completely aired out .

Cool thanks that's good to know , I was kinda worried about it but that's the only place I had room for both pipes to go .

  20. A rear sway bar wouldn't be a bad idea for keeping things in place.

  21. Sway bar won't keep the rear-end in place. He'd need a Watt's link to keep everything centered throughout the range of travel.

  22. I was talking body roll not the rear end moving side to side.

Another round if the Monday updats , today I spent most of the day working on the exhaust again , Yah I know it's taking Forever but finally got to the point where I'm finished with the system on the car now I can take it home and make it look real nice by smoothing out all of the welds .

Thank you , i was organially going to make the exhause system out of steel and get it cermic coated black so no one would see it but i came across stainless for the same price as i would have bought steel ,so there it is, im not going to polish it ill just dress the welds and leave it raw:D
    Thanks guys

With all that dairy tubing, the thing will smell like burnt cheese when you first fire it up.
