Projects 59 chevy wagon in progress

  1. I just read all 80 pages of this! Truly an inspiring work of art. It's the threads like these that make the H.A.M.B. such a great place. I've always been a wagon fan, and just recently bought a 1959 pontiac wagon, so I was searching "wagon" when I saw this thread. Excellent work and craftsmanship abound in this build, and I think those who take the time to read through it all are better for it! I just moved to the east coast, so I hope I get the opportunity to see this car one day.

    Thanks for taking the time to post your work Cody, I really enjoyed reading through the thread and watching this masterpiece come together!

    like the picture of the glove-box lock with your reflection seen in both parts, had not even occurred to me yet to polish that up yet. great work.

    at home ive been working on polishing up the headers , i still have some more work to do but im happy with the way there turning out [​IMG]

    dont pay attention to the bolts i havnt had time to make the domed head stainless bolts up yet

    the top color is a custom mix threw r-m , the bottom color is glasurit, water base , it 2003 vw beetle cyber green matalliac that we tweeked quite a bit and the clear is glasuirt 923-450 that stuff is amazing , but not cheep at all

    MAN... I've said it before, Awesome job...

    Sad thing, I bet a lot of guys, once done, wont realize the amount of work blending and polishing...

    Unfortunately i have more pictures to show you guys but for some reason im having problems uploading photos again , , so here what did load , this week i did manage to install the gas tank , , ordered my drive shaft , installed my side cover on the motor , did some more wiring , and made up more bolts for the motor

  28. I´have no more to add. Speachless.
    By the way I have a guy in plastic buissnes looking at my taillights, maybe he can make them for me. Thats wy I don´t have done anymore with them.I´ll keep you posted if there´s any progress.....Kenneth.
