The previous owner of my car had already restored the headliner and kickpanels but they left out the windlace. Is there a way to install the windlace without removing all the headliner and kickpanels? I really don't want to mess up something that is already finished.

    thanks in advance

You would not have to remove the whole headliner. You would have to carefully untuck the parts over the doors so that you can take out the screws holding in the toothed part. But I have replaced widlace without doing that. If you can tuck the part over the doors and only remove the kick panels and the center door and the part by the rear doors ,and install those as orig.
