Technical 59 Ford Center Console

    Keeping it pretty simple I bought this car off a buddy a while back for the motor. He had it sitting in the yard when he moved into his house.

    Finally got around to messing with it. I noticed this center console. Anyone seen something like this before? It seemed fairly well****embled, but I don't recall seeing something like this before. Is it just something someone thrown together? IMG_9208.JPG IMG_9210.JPG

    Either way it seemed neat and I was curious about it.

    That rolling trapdoor****embly looks like a '68 'M-----g console door.
    The James dude didn't want to cut the dash possibly.

    Maybe adapted from something.
     
  5. Yep, '67-68 Mustang/Cougar console. That's the top half that attached to the dash, laid flat instead. Where the gauges are mounted is where the original radio went.
