So, me and my fiancee bought a new daily driver. '59 Ford Fairlane that was sitting in front of a house, fairly boring and kinda beat up..

Well..half a day later, we had reversed the shackles, kicked of the baby moons, ripped of the fenderskirts and made it a little more easy to look at...

Looks good Hank. I would of done the same exact thing. I can't stand the sight of an *** dragger with skirts on some cars.. Is that your '57 as well on the driveway?

Well..we are planning to do a kinda wicked paintjob next winter or so, but yesterday we just shot it ruddy brown primer with a gold metallic top. I'll paint some long slick scallops on it in a few days and some subtle pinstripe on the trunk and hood.
Put a tube grille on it today. We'll put some lakepipes on it, and Lancer caps for this summer...Blankets and angel hair interior until we're ready, and have the time and money to finish it the way we want it to be..hard when it's a daily driver..We only have parts of the weekend to work on it..Anyways, i'll post some more pics shortly.

Been there, done that and got the tee-shirt.

When I reversed my shackles, I fergot to set the pinion angle and ended up scratching my head as I began to tear up universal joints on a regular basis.

Well, here's the interior that my fiancee got done last weekend, last night we painted some scallops kinda half ***ed and real fast. Some Lancers and pinstriping are coming up, then we're done for now....
