History 59 Mercury Kustoms

    59 mercurys. Have nobody made kustoms of those? I havent found many pics of orginal 2door cars either. Are they so rare/undisirable? In my head they can look cool with minimal effort(lowering, paint, wheels)

    anybody here have pics of 59 mercs?

    59 was one of the big, fugly, every brand. Big engines and a lot of weight. Don’t know the totals on manufacturers but Mercs had to be low. Seems like Chevrolet and Cadillac survived but not much else. It was also a down turndown our nation’s economy. 1960 began economy cars.
    Race tracks didn’t have much use for the 58-59 Mercs so I guessing most were scrapped early as soon as rust showed up.
    Customs had a much better chance and hope a few will show up here.
