59 T-Bird Advice

I just picked up a 59 T-Bird with a good 429 Thunderjet and C-6 tranny for $1200. There is barely any rust underneath and the interior just needs a little TLC. I was going to do an engine swap with my 63 Galaxie (390 for a 429) but now I'm having second thoughts. I'm torn between between keeping it relatively stock or starting to do it a little more custom, shaved, lowered, etc... What would you guys advise?

 

if it runs fine why do the swap?
