Hey fellas, I have a '39 Merc flathead with one of those spaced out two belt pulleys on the front of the crank. I can't for the life of me manage to get this thing off. Can anyone give me some advice?

I'm thinking you will need to lift the front of the engine, because the crossmember looks to be in the way. Then, remove the large nut and put a puller on it.
