Technical 59a parts to 8ba

What all will interchange? I have 59a cam,valve train , cam and crank gears, water pumps. What do I have to do to change this to a 8ba?
Will be using 59a intake ,and heads, as well as the crab dist and timing cover. Is all of this realistically possible?

from the 59ab. You need the cam, timing gear, crank gear, timing cover and distributor.
To run the 59a intake you will have to fashion up some type of pcv. Also to run the 59ab heads water p***age holes will have to plugged on the front of each head and 8ba block. 59ab water pumps will fit 8ba and you need a 59ab crank pulley. I might be missing something but there is plenty of info on this if you do a search

 

Early pumps on the later block also require plugging the small hole on the mounting face of the block. It will be obvious when you hold the early pump up to it.

 

That is what I needed. You say w/p will work. I have that and the crank pulley. tried search and nothing. But you came thru.
