59AB Flathead VS. 331 Hemi

    So what is a decent price for a complete running 331? Not rebuilt.

    I got my 53 331 for $561.00 and started it 2 days later. I've seen prices from $500.00 to $2000.00. They are out there but you need to have the cash to move on the spot. They go quick.
     
  3. Here are a couple of shots of my 354 Hemi powered 32.
    I mounted the engine as far forward as possible with a mechanical fan and modified the upper left side of the firewall about 3/4" and the right side about 1 1/2". I tried to retain all of the character lines in the firewall and original foot wells on both sides of the firewall.
    I used a Ansen ****tershiels belhousing to cut down on the size of the
    bellhousing/transmission hump.
    By using an aluminum water pump, adapter, water crosssover,intake manifold and small high torque starter, I figure the engine is about a 150 lbs heavier than a small block Chev.
    It handles very good and doesn't feel nose heavy in corners.
    And yeah, it goes like hell.
