I'm feeling a little green with this one...

I bought a set of brand new wide belt waterpumps so I could mount my 8ba in my model A frame. I bought the matching crank pulley. I needed a different generator pulley and since I wanted to convert to 12v, I bought a converted 59ab generator. This bolts onto my intake but the pullies are off by about an inch. Is there any way I can adapt this generator to my 8ba? Thanks for any help in advance.

Use your 8BA generator mount and drill a new locator pin hole in the generator body in the correct place. I'd cut the 59A mount off of the generator for looks but you may not need to.

Yes , we got a used 59a type powergen and simply cut the leg off and measured where the locating 8ba pin went and drilled the 1/4 hole in the 59a housing and used the old 8ba mounts. Never know now.
