6-71 Blower Snout ???

Will a kobelco style blower snout fit an Old Style GM 6-71 Blower?

 

What is a kobelco blower snout? Is it on some piece of construction equipment or what?

The snout uses the same bolt pattern as a std 671 blower, but the bolt pattern on the drive coupler looks to be too big for a std 671. But I'd give DMPE a call they should have the answer for you.

Looks right, you will have to trim your gasket for the star shape of the mounting location though.

 

But will it seal?

 

That snout uses an o-ring to seal it not a gasket (look closer at the register on the snout).
